1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use myp-ibdemystified.com, create an account or buy anything from us. The site is run by IB Demystified Ltd, registered in England and Wales, at 3 Brickhouse Road, Rowley Regis, West Midlands, B65 8HD, United Kingdom.

By using the site you agree to these terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

2. Not part of the IB

IB Demystified is an independent company. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the International Baccalaureate Organization. "IB", "MYP" and "DP" are used only to describe the programmes our resources support.

3. Accounts and age

• Give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• Accounts are for one person. Sharing a login, or letting others use it, is not allowed. School licences are the exception, as set out in section 6.
• If you are under 13, a parent or guardian must create the account and make any purchase. If you are 13 to 17, you need a parent or guardian's permission to buy.

4. Free tasks

Two tasks in every topic of each published MYP subject are free to use, with no payment and no account needed. We may change which tasks are free, but we will tell you before removing free access you are using.

5. Subscriptions

Current prices for students and teachers:

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing info@ibdemystified.com. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for; we do not refund part-periods.
• If we change a price, we will tell you at least 30 days before it affects your next renewal, so you can cancel first.
• New subjects added to the "All MYP subjects" package are included at no extra cost.

Free trials

From time to time we may offer a free trial of a package. If we do, the length of the trial and what happens when it ends will be shown clearly before you start.

6. School licences

School licences are priced by the number of students and last for one or two years:

• The school may give access to students and teachers up to its licensed number. Accounts must not be shared outside the school.
• Licences are invoiced to the school and do not renew automatically; we will contact you before the end date.
• Any written agreement signed with a school takes priority over this section.

7. Refunds and your right to cancel

Under UK consumer law you normally have 14 days to change your mind about an online purchase. For digital content, that right ends once you start using it, as long as you agreed to this at checkout. Because our resources are available immediately, we will ask you to confirm this when you buy.

If something we provide is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Contact info@ibdemystified.com and we will put it right.

8. Tutoring

One-to-one tutoring is sold separately from the resources. Booking 30 hours or more includes a year of the study hub, in the subjects tutored.

9. Our content

All notes, tasks, solutions, mark schemes, assessments, videos and designs on this site belong to IB Demystified Ltd or our authors, and are protected by copyright.

• Students may use them for their own study.
• Teachers and licensed schools may print and use them with their own classes.
• You must not copy, sell, share publicly, upload to other websites or file-sharing services, or use them to build a competing product, without our written permission.

10. Using the site fairly

Please do not misuse the site: for example, do not try to break its security, collect other users' information, send spam through our forms, or copy content automatically. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will explain why unless the law prevents us.

11. Results

Our resources and tutors are designed to help students improve, and many do. But results depend on many things outside our control, so we cannot guarantee any particular grade. We aim to keep everything accurate and aligned with the current MYP framework; if you spot a mistake, please tell us.

12. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.

Otherwise, we are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen, or for business losses. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem arose.

13. Changes

We may update these terms or change the service, for example adding subjects or improving features. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change affects a paid subscription in an important way, we will tell you by email in advance.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you have a complaint, please contact us first and we will try to resolve it. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
